About Me

My name is Kathy Erickson and I have been blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places on this planet. For nearly 40 years I have traveled and photographed Wyoming and her people.

Having raised seven children on a family ranch/farm I have enjoyed the outdoors and the diverse landscapes that surround us. With Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in our backyard, it's not difficult to find plenty of things to take pictures of; wildlife, dynamic vistas, and people enjoying their surrounding, has given me ideal subject matter.

While I was raising my children I continued working to complete my Bachelors Degree. I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Governors State University, Chicago, IL. I continue to take workshops and classes to increase my knowledge of photography and fine tune my skills.

My images have been published in several major magazines, brochures, newspapers, on the web and regional publications including Mountain Living Magazine, Old West Days, Elk fest brochures, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce website, and Jackson Hole Explorer.
